🌃 Located northeast of the historic center of the city, the Orangerie takes its name from the famous park where families, sportsmen, curious people meet daily... A real place of life and meeting close to embassies, European institutions and luxurious residences. It will take less than a century for the park to grow and become what it is today. In 1895, as part of the Universal Exhibition and to seal its prestige, Germany undertook the expansion of Strasbourg with the “Neustadt”. In this undertaking, the Germanic Empire then decided to develop a huge green space. Thus, around the Joséphine pavilion, an artificial lake and a waterfall are created to the delight of the inhabitants. The Parc de l'Orangerie was born. Its importance is such that it ends up giving its name to the most famous district of Strasbourg. The Orangerie district also includes that of the fifteen which owes its name to the Council of the same name which administered the city from 1433 to the Revolution. Today, only three orange trees remain in the park. The Joséphine pavilion, meanwhile, still exists. It is regularly privatized and used for various cultural activities. The Parc de l'Orangerie is the largest area of green space in the Alsatian capital with its twenty-six hectares. Within it, the University Botanical Garden cares for no less than 5,000 species of plants spread over more than three hectares.
A few steps from the park are the important European buildings: the Council of Europe, the European Parliament and the European Court of Human Rights.
The district is also famous for its many bourgeois villas inspired by the German Renaissance. In addition, this is the area where many international embassies are located. Thus, the reputation of the Orangerie district has been forged thanks to the beauty of the buildings and the peaceful atmosphere of its streets.

🚭 Smoking or using a smoking device will result in a penalty of €250 additional cleaning fee.
🐕 Animals are allowed with a supplement of 30€ per animal, per stay, with prior request.
Bed linen and towels as well as standard final cleaning at the end of the stay are included in the price. This includes change of bed linen, general cleaning of the apartment and sanitary facilities.
However, it is up to you to clean and put away the dishes, take down the trash cans, empty the fridge / freezer, the dishwasher, oven, microwave as well as clean up inside the apartment. If you do not want to take care of this, you can order a supplement called "complete cleaning" of the apartment before your arrival for 60 euros. In the absence of prior reservation of this option, and in the event of non-compliance with these instructions, penalties of €120 for cleaning costs will be invoiced to you.
📝 A signature of a digital contract as well as your ID, via the Yaago platform, will be requested after booking, as well as information for the police file, in accordance with the regulations in force. If the identity of the people present during the stay does not match that of the reservation, we reserve the right to refuse you access to the accommodation.
